Move the slider to get the RGB and HEX color of any light temperature. Handy for 3ds Max, Blender and V-Ray lights.
The Kelvin to RGB Converter is a free tool that turns a light color temperature, from warm candle light to cool daylight, into RGB and HEX values. It helps 3D artists in V-Ray, Corona, Blender and 3ds Max, plus designers and photographers, match real light colors. Move the slider and copy the code. No sign-up.

RGB 255, 249, 253
Kelvin is the color of light. Low numbers are warm and orange, like a candle or an old bulb. High numbers are cool and blue, like a cloudy sky. Normal daylight sits around 5500 to 6500 K.
Most render engines let you set a light by temperature directly. But some materials, emissive surfaces and older lights only take RGB. That is where this converter helps.
Mixing a warm interior light with a cool window light gives depth to a render. Keep the camera white balance close to the main light so the image does not look too orange or too blue.
Warm white is about 2700 to 3000 K. It is the usual choice for homes and hotels.
Roughly 255, 249, 253. It is close to pure white with a tiny cool tint.
It uses a well-known approximation of the black body curve. It is close enough for 3D work but not a lab measurement.
